Short Course

This course equips registered radiographers with safe, competent venipuncture and IV cannulation skills specifically for contrast administration in CT, MRI, and interventional procedures. Participants master vein selection, aseptic technique, complication management, and documentation through hands-on simulation and supervised clinical practice. Upon completion, radiographers gain institutional credentials for independent IV access, enhancing workflow efficiency and patient care in imaging departments.
