
The Faculty of Humanities and Education brings a Brazilian flavour to Jamaica for a special Reggae Month 2026 experience! Join us for an evening of cultural dialogue and music, featuring a screening of the documentary Brazilian Jamaica, followed by a conversation with Gleyser Azevedo (Film Director) and Ademar Danilo, Founder and Director of the Reggae Museum of Maranhão and a leading voice in the Brazilian reggae movement. The evening will end with a live Reggae DJ set by Ademar Danilo, bringing the unique sound of Brazilian reggae to The UWI.
